Job Description

As a Director, Services Sales - Japan for our client, you will:

• Manage a Team of Sales Leaders: Drive services sales in support of our client’s global Customer Outcomes strategy, within new and existing customer accounts, spanning all industries and territories in Japan.

• Own the Bookings Quota: Take ownership of the Japan CO Bookings quota and drive services sales across the full portfolio of offerings.

• Build and Drive Strategy: Develop and drive the Geo services sales Go-To-Market strategy in conjunction with the software sales leadership and cross-functional team.

• Engage in Territory Planning: Actively participate in territory planning, relationship development, opportunity development, and driving bookings by assisting Sales Leaders and Services Executives in closing opportunities.

• Recruit, Coach, and Mentor: Recruit, coach, and mentor a diverse team to drive excellence and manage performance expectations.

• Manage Forecast and Pipeline: Report accurate forecasts and pipeline to the business; coach the team to drive linearity and accuracy.

• Achieve Sales Quotas: Meet and exceed services sales quotas on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert: Lead C-level meetings and guide conversations on implementation and transformation.

• Build Collaborative Relationships: Foster effective relationships with Sales, Solution Consulting, Technical Support, Legal, Sales Operations, Marketing, the Partner ecosystem, and the executive team.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, our client is looking for someone who has:

• An extensive track record of services sales success within Enterprise Software or large-scale transformation services sales within a System Integrator or Advisory firm.

• Proven success in recruiting, coaching, and managing an exceptional and diverse services sales team.

• Strategic thinking to lead the team in creating compelling, industry-leading services offerings that match C-level decision-making criteria.

• Analytical and financial planning skills to meet and exceed quotas and goals in a predictive manner.

• Experience in driving the services sales process and fostering effective working relationships with Sales, ACE, cross-functional teams, and external customers.

• The ability to lead conversations around business outcomes, time to value, and risk of software implementation.

• Adaptability to work effectively within a rapidly changing and growing environment.

• Fluency in English and Japanese.
